USA Special Event Description:
Blues....BBQ.....and The Backporch Stage...The Doheny Blues Festival is nationally-renown amongst blues fans. With an ideal location right on the beach, you will enjoy three stages of alternating music (including acoustic sets and story teller sessions on the intimate Backporch Stage) not to mention dozens of authentic food vendors and more then 40 art and craft booths.

Past performers include a "who's who" of blues music, R&B, roots and rock... B.B. King, Etta James, Jonny Lang, Los Lobos and many others. The 2007 lineup will be John Fogerty, The Reverend Al Green, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Susan Tedeschi, The Blind Boys Of Alabama, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers with very special guest James Cotton, The Lowrider Band (Cisco Kid, Spill The Wine), John NĂ©meth Band with very special guests, Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets, Jr. Watson & The Texas Horns, Rory Block, Cephas & Wiggins, Kim Wilson & James Cotton, Jussi Jo Buddy Raulamo (from Finland)
